Here We Go

January 10, 2015 - Almost Ready

 It is hard to believe that we booked this cruise a year and a half ago. We thought we would never make it. 

 I have had three foot surgeries since then. The last was April 22nd, and is almost healed. This after another hospitalization in June to fight off an infection before it reached the bone. We won. 

 Alice has healed from her elbow replacement, but still has some pain. She is also working hard to avoid surgery for a torn rotator cuff.

 None of this will get us down.

 Our bags are packed, and waiting for any last minute additions. I must attend a budget committee meeting at Apple Canyon Lake tomorrow. Then we will wait for the taxi on Sunday. We will spend two and a half days in Amsterdam before boarding Prinsendam to start this marvelous itinerary.
